Our club members get-together.
Working in the same healthcare space, they have much in common to talk about. Ideas are exchanged. Friendships are enriched. Best practices are shared. Support is offered. Services are offered to each other. Entrepreneurship and leadership is lonely at the top and hanging out with respected peers is good for the soul.
Medvale Clubs sometimes meet face-to-face when it can be done responsibly. Catalyst Health Technology Innovation in Denver is our go-to “club house.” We gather there for a day and a half of camaraderie, brainstorming on how we can better change the world, and tapping into the 120 Catalyst tenants there who are innovating and disrupting healthcare.
In the new normal, however, we’re more likely to found gathered around our table at the Medvale Cafe, our virtual meeting place. While these virtual get-togethers—which we call huddles—are typically monthly, our club members can grab a table at the Medvale Cafe anytime two or more of them want to collaborate, share documents or just reach out for emotional support.
Jim selected and brought together family practice physician leaders from all over America for what was the most productive medical meeting I’ve been to. He create a trusting environment and facilitated focused discussions leading to our request to get us back together regularly to exchange ideas and collaborate though this “club” of respected colleagues.
